THE NEW MOBILE LEAK DETECTOR FOR ALL SF6-FILLED COMPONENTS

SF6 LEAKCHECK P1XT is a truly portable, precise and highly sensitive instrument for determining SF6 leaks built in a trolley style Peli Protector Case including a docking station for the Handgun.

Its field proven detection principle, the NIC detector, gives SF6 LEAKCHECK P1XT the following properties:

· High sensitivity for Leakrates e.g. cc/s - g/year - mbarL/s 
· High sensitivity for Gas Concentrations e.g. ppm
· Perfectly immune against even 100% SF6.
   A few seconds after exposure to high gas concentrations, the instrument recovers without any loss in sensitivity, accuracy, or response time.
· Very fast response and recovery, no warm-up or stabilisation periods needed. Approx. 20 seconds after power up, P1XT is ready to go.

Maximum reliability and ultimate ease of use were the main guidelines in the development of P1XT. All vital parameters, such as the sample flow rate, are permanently monitored and regulated. Normal operation is a matter of switch on and go.

By default, the unit powers up in what is called the “Search Mode”, featuring a fast responding Bar Graph on the Handgun Display. This effectively prevents the operator to overlook smaller leaks, which would otherwise cause only a marginal response.

Once a leak has been localised, the push of a button puts the instrument into “Measuring Mode” if desired. In this mode the handgun display is switched to numerical reading. It is now possible to precisely measure the leak, with the leak rate displayed on the handgun screen.

All components subject to wear are placed in the exchangeable smartSensor. It can be replaced within seconds, while all the rest of the system requires virtually no maintenance over long periods. System availability is thus significantly improved. SF6 LEAKCHECK P1XT comes with 3 pre- calibrated smartSensors.

Power supply is by an integrated self seeking AC adaptor.
Its 85 ... 265V, 50/60Hz range makes it suitable for world wide use.

If desired, a standby mode can be selected to power down the instrument completely or partially, saving battery power and/or sensor lifetime. Standby entry and exit are controlled by a motion sensor in the handgun, with auto recovery when the handgun is picked up.

The new P1XT features an integrated docking station for the wireless handgun. It offers a comfortable and secure resting place for the handgun while recharging it.
